Why Orventory exists

Why Orventory exists

Product, stock and price data is born in the ERP; the customer sees it on a sales channel. The wider the gap between the two grows, the sooner you get overselling, wrong prices and orders corrected by hand. Orventory was written to bring both sides into one panel.

  • Data from the ERP is normalised in the panel and converted into each channel’s own shape
  • Orders and changes from a channel are written back into the ERP along the same path
  • The need came out of real enterprise ERP projects, not a whiteboard

Technical foundation

Built on Symfony

The platform is written in Symfony. Business data lives in a relational database and the heavy log stream in a document store — two different jobs, two different places.

Queue-driven

Heavy work such as product transfer and stock or price pushes is queued. Neither the panel nor the channel slows down because of a bulk push.

Everything recorded

Channel, ERP, command, consumer and exception logs are kept apart, and what each job ran with is stored — request and response body included.

Long-term support

Every rollout is shaped by the ERP and channels you run. We scope it with you, build the mappings and switch the flow on — and stay with you afterwards.

The Falcon Software product family

Orventory stands on its own; run alongside the other products under the same roof, the data flows from a single source.
